Essential oils are aromatic compounds which are harvested from the leaves, bark, fruit, flowers, stems, roots or other aspects of plants. These compounds can then be diffused into the air or applied topically to treat various conditions as well as sustain wellness.
Dr. Turenne primarily uses essential oils during hospice-assisted natural death or during in-home euthanasias. She has found the use of essential oils to be pivotal not only with helping her patients transition with peace, but also to help her clients with their grieving process.
If you are interested in using essential oils for another reason with your pet, please let us know and Dr. Turenne can make a referral to a trusted resource during the consultation.
