While there are many advantages to having Dr. Turenne evaluate your pet in your home, there are times when this is just not possible. That is where virtual vet visits come in!
Dr. Turenne is available for holistic pet phone consultations and end-of-life pet phone consultations. Her goal with phone consultations is to bring clarity to your pet’s current condition and help you achieve your goals for your pet’s health.
Dr. Turenne offers virtual vet visits for those outside of our service area, including out of state. If you would like to learn more about our phone consultations, please call us at 734-385-7161 or if you prefer, please fill out this form located here.
What to Expect in a Virtual Vet Visit
Our phone consultations are 45 minutes in length and the cost includes obtaining records from veterinarians your pet has seen over the last 2-3 years. Prior to the consultation, Dr. Turenne will review all the medical records as well as your questionnaire submitted online. Following the consultation, you will be sent a summary of the consultation.
Some Reasons Pet Parents Choose Telemedicine Consultations
Dr. Turenne Can Provide Guidance For Many Common Conditions
Cancer, allergies, kidney disease, liver disease, chronic urinary tract infections, hormonal disease (including Cushing’s, Addison’s, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, diabetes), pancreatitis, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and more.
Please note that a phone consultation is not a substitute for a physical examination. We cannot prescribe medications but can make recommendations to discuss with your veterinarian. You will be able to purchase any nutritional supplements recommended by Dr. Turenne through her office. These will be discussed during your phone consultation.
